Summary:
Hostage to money; the stockholms syndrome of shareholder capitalism poignantly links the crises the world finds itself in with our lust for growth and money. We are trapped in the capitalist system. In doing so, we seem used to that prison by now – indeed, we have come to emphatically love it. And we cannot get away from it. The ‘shareholder’ has become an end rather than a means. This transformation has made ‘everything of value’ defenceless. In doing so, we end up destroying ourselves. And we are well on our way…
