Working towards September. Slowly.

Sneak Peek

We’ve moved.
And no, everything is not finished yet.

A new year has started, but I’m not resetting.
I’m continuing.
For about six months now, I’ve been working with oil paint,
and I’ve grown to like the pace it sets.

Oil doesn’t rush.
It waits, it resists, it asks you to return tomorrow.

This year has a direction, though.
I’m working towards an exhibition in September,
with the aim of making fifty new paintings.
Whether I’ll get there, we’ll see.

For now, I’m moving at a snail’s pace.
