Melancholy

Melancholy is a collection of soberly colored works created with paint, paper and pencil.
Originally created to illustrate 10 short dutch stories that were published as a book.

These 12 original works were created for the collection of stories ‘Zwaarmoedige verhalen voor bij het koffieapparaat’ by L.L. Stegman. They measure 18 x 24 cm on 500 g/m2 Hahnemuhle Andalucia paper. Mostly created with Holbein Acryla Gouache, Faber Castell Polychromos pencils and collage.
